Two in one day!

Another post, I know, but the last one was strictly for Mothers Day.

This one is on the newest happenings in the Fargo household.

Emersan is fully potty trained. She still isnt going without a diaper at night, but she wakes up dry...so it's mostly for MY peace of mind. She also tells us when she has to poop so we can quick put a diaper on her to poop...she refuses to poop in the potty just yet. But she is peeing in the potty like a champ. She is so big.

Bryn is just such a happy happy baby. She is always smiling and cuddling up with who ever is holding her. She is such a joy.

Mothers Day

Today is Mothers Day. A day to honor mothers. A day to remember EVERYTHING mothers do for everyone. It's a pretty special day. Moms all over the world are being celebrated.

Today I got to spend my Mothers day with my family. I couldn't ask for more. I hosted a Mothers Day brunch here this morning. We had my brother, sister-in-law, her parents, my parents, and Dustins parents all here for brunch. Lots of yummy food was made and lots of good conversation was had. I love family get togethers.

My beautiful daughters got me a heart necklace with 3 little diamonds on the side, one for each of my girls and one for me. (thanks mom and dad for "helping" them pick it out). I will forever cherish this necklace. Emersan came into my room this morning carrying a gift bag and said "here mommy, this is for you and Brynlie. It's a necklace." You've got to love her. Bless her heart.

So as today continues, my heart continues to be full of so much love for not only my girls, but my mom and mother in law. I am truly blessed beyond words.

I could get used to this...

My house has never been cleaner. My laundry is caught up 99% of the time. The rooms are organized and a lot of stuff has been purged. It is a great feeling. However, I have to go back to work in 2 short weeks. Granted, I only have to work 2 weeks then I am on summer break, but still...

I am very blessed to have a job that I can be home with my kids a lot, but still get some adult interaction during the day and my kids get the social piece they need. It's perfect.

Emersan is on day 3 of her potty training and I really think we have this down this time. She has only had 2 accidents in 3 days, but I dont blame her. She was playing in water when she had said accidents. Way to go big girl!!

Bryn is still just hanging out. Theres really not a lot to say about a newborn. When she starts rolling and crawling and things like that there will be much more to report.

Starting over

I have tried my hand at this blogging business once before without success. However, now that we have 2 little ladies in the house, my time to jot things down in the baby books. I dont want to forget. So I thought I would try this one more time.

I'll start with Emersan: Emersan is almost 3. THREE. How did that happen? I just don't know how so much time has gotten by me so fast. She is definately a little diva. She has quite the attitude, but balances herself out well with her heart of gold. She reminds me of a sour patch kid. Naughty, then super sweet. She loves to love things. She is quite the little mommy to her little sister. She loves helping us to everything for Brynlie.

Today was her first day of successful potty training. We have tried multiple times but to no avail. She was just not ready. I think having the new baby around put a damper on her willingness to try. BUT today has been a success. NO accidents at all! I couldn't be more proud of her. She is just getting to be so big.

She loves daycare. She loves all her friends there. We have been so blessed finding such a great daycare. Emersan loves Miss Brie. I love Miss Brie. Its a great fit.

Onto Brynlie(Bryn): Bryn is now 6 weeks old. She is growing so big. She has outgrown her newborn clothes already which is bittersweet. I'm glad she is getting bigger and growing, but she is going way to fast. She smiles at me all the time. It is so beautiful. She smiles at others too, but I like to think she smiles at me the most...you know because I am with her all day!

I think I'll end this for now. Not much new to report. I'm going to work REALLY hard at keeping up with this so that I can look back and tell my girls what went on when they were little :-)
